Etthundratrettiosex.
And then I found out that it's the author of Loveless that's responsible for the character designs in Gundam 00.

No wonder everyone in that anime is ridiculously handsome.

Yeah, her post-Earthian character designs are pretty amazing! (Wasn't sure about the style of Earthian because everyone was so violently and unrepentantly 80s. XD)

I like her style a lot too, but when I say that the characters in Gundam 00 are ridiculously handsome, I really mean they're ridiculously handsome. As in, oh-god-why-are-you-all-bishounen-was-that-a-prerequisite-to-pilot-a-mecha-or-something-I'll-never-be-able-to-take-this-blatant-fanservice-seriously levels of ridiculously handsome.

Not that I ever complained with Code Geass, but IDK, in 00 is just feels more in your face. CG had more shit going on too, so you were too busy trying to keep track of all the twists to be othered by the CLAMPsome bishounens.

The first season of 00 can seriously be summed up as so;
Episode 1 - Our Mechas Are Much Better Than Your Mechas
Episode 2 - Our Pilots Are Much More Handsome Than Your Pilots
Episodes 3 through 24 - POLITICS AND MECHAFIGHTS HAPPENED
Episode 25 - I Was The Mastermind All Along (Collective Gasps Of Surprise)

I only watched it because of Tieria and his huge mancrush on Lockon. Because I'm easily swayed by such things. Yes.

XD I know, right?! There should be a limit! I haven't watched it, but I've seen some of the characters.

Haha, it's true that Code Geass keeps you analying! I was so infatuated with Lelouch's posing and his FTW expressions of I-am-so-plotty-awesome-it-hurts, or right-now-I-am-completely-insane-but-my-skillz-are-still-so-sparkly-fab! XD He is an amazing character. I am also quite partial to Suzaku, despite disliking his bitchdom and defection from The Great Lelouch.

LOVE YOUR SUMMARY. :D O rlly, a massive mancrush?? I may have to watch this!

I fucking love masterminds and plotting and stuff like that in anime. It's not used too often, but I think that's okay. QUality over quantity. And CG had its flaws, but it went at such a "I con't even know WHAT I am watching" pace that no-one had the time to be too bothered about it. And when it was over, everyone just realized that at least they had fun and went home.

You'll be groaning your head off up until then though, just warning. Unless you're into weird as fuck pacing, too many people and places to keep track of at once, too-handsome-to-take-seriously bishounen, too-sudden-to-take-seriously twists and a protagonist that's the least interesting character in the entire show. Then again, protags tend to be the least interesting characters in their respective shows, so not much of note there. But then all of a sudden Tieria has this huge mancrush and it's golden. As in, it'll make you feel actual emotions. WHOAH.

ME TOO. Not just the pace that gave me that "I don't even know what I'm watching!" feeling! I could hardly stop laughing with delight through Code Geass because of Lelouch's mighty plottings and posings. He is just so perfect. Even better is that half of his poses made no sense and were just to be dramatic, so it was like, "WTF WHAT IS HE DOING WITH HIS HAND WHILE DELIVERING THAT MIGHTY SPEECH?! XD" I can't imagine that any of his minions heard a damned thing he was saying as they were gaping at his amazing expressions combined with his stupefying FTW poses. I loved the way he laughed, too. I think the whole reason he and Suzaku had such a tragic conflict was that Suzaku had become immune to Lelouch's mystifying posing power.

Certainly wouldn't be the first time the protagonist was the least interesting character in a show! I may give it a try. :) The mancrushes are hilarious. SPEAKING OF EPIC MANCRUSHES, HAVE YOU SEEN GENESIS OF AQUARION??
