Yesterday I lost my mind and spent loads mooniez on a bunch of ProMarkers, an inking pen and 50 sheets of bleedproof paper.
I've always wanted ProMarkers, but I've never bought any because of the price and because I know my interest on doing a pic usually dies after finishing the sketch. But I had found four packs of markers, a big one containing the pen, paper and ten markers, and three smaller ones containing five markers each. It cost half(!!) as much at that bookstore compared to the art shop in Stockholm, so I just grabbed 'em all.
Trying my stuff out now, or well, yeah. I've traced over a sketch on to the bleedproof paper and I'm inking it now. Though the inking pen doesn't get along well with the paper, and it dries very slowly. Last night I ended up smudging ink all over the paper with my hand before I realised that the ink wasn't dry yet. That's what I get for only using cheap printer paper for so long?
So yeah, inking in stages now, waiting for the stuff to properly dry. Once it's inked, I'll scan it again (I already scanned the sketch yesterday) just in case I ruin anything during colouring, and then I'll attack it with the markers.
Look forward to hearing how I'm doing?
Peace. /o/
